Vintage Fila Roll Necks: An '80s Classic
Since featuring in the Nick Love film, The Firm, demand for these and other clothing of the casuals' heyday has soared. Part of Fila's '80s re-releases campaign, this re-issue was a long-awaited compliment to the vintage Fila collection and is ideally worn under jackets or v-neck jumpers. Fila have named the range of polo necks after the '19th' hole, to emphasize its credentials as casual wear and the versatility of the look.
Fila have produced these roll necks in red, white, black and navy colours and manufactured them in lightweight cotton. When you put one of these on, you'll instantly have that '80s casuals look.
Fila vintage collectors and fans after the casuals look should definitely check these out.
Don't forget to look at the rest of the Fila Vintage range at Stuarts London.

Fila Settanta Mark One
As with many of the Fila tracksuits, polo shirts and jumpers, these jackets were adopted by the Casuals culture in the '80s- and demand for these has been refuelled by recent British films The Business and The Firm. The high-demand has prompted Fila to re-issue the Settanta One and a few other Fila classics too.
The Settanta Mark I is back in stock at Stuarts London, as well as a whole host of re-issued Fila goodies.

Fila Terrinda: New Colours
A true '80s classic from Fila's White Line Collection, the Fila Terrinda. Terrinda jackets are the rarest of the whole Fila collection, and was the first in the Fila range to be aimed at stylish spectators and big-name tennis players, which was apt given as in the '80s the Terrinda jacket was the most expensive item in the Fila collection.
The name Terrinda comes from the unique fabric used to make this jacket, which combined with the court-marking piping, with the biker-style collar and padded shoulder detail mark this jacket out as a sought-after jacket for the '80s casuals.
Fila are stirctly controlling the production run, so stocks are limited- originals from the 80s are fetching from £400 to £1200 on eBay, but buying a re-issue from Stuarts London is your way to getting the classic look without the crazy cost!

Wimbledon - Tennis Fila Matchday - Kelly Green

Fila Matchday in Kelly Green was one of the most rarest colours around back in the 80s. Many would argue that it wasn't even available in Menes, and was a colour released for the women's collection. That's not true, it was a colour that just wasn't produced enough, and the quantity was limited. Although this jacket has been released a few times, since the 80s, this is the best replica we have seen. The Blue zipper and the cut and sew side designs with the stripes is an exact one to one re-make by Fila. The Matchday retails for £65 at stuartslondon.com but please be aware from August 2010 the price is going to be increased to £75.00
Loads of new stock has poured into Stuarts and the feed back is the Ace polo is on nearly every purchase.

Fruity little number

‘Don’t get lemon!.’, ‘I am not getting lemon, helmet.’ (The Firm, Nick love, 2009), well now it is time to get lemon and either complete you Terrinda tracksuit collection, or make a bold statement of style this summer with the latest Fila release.

Donned as the ace in the pack of tracksuit tops, and as rare as rocking horse teeth, this stunning pastel coloured top, is the rarest of all the collection and comes hot on the heels of the release of the blue and green tops.
Topping the charts for price in the 80s, this trackie now tops the charts for cutting edge looks and values, as the Italian giant has overseen the quality and production of the limited run.
Otherwise known as the Matchday Mark 3 the velour feel top boasts the classic ‘Mondrian’ white piping lines, with the delicious low cut collar, allowing for your Fila 19th polo neck to stand proud out of the top.
There really is a case for either clearing out a space in your wardrobe for this gem, or just splashing out, due in no short part to the fact that the run is ‘very’ limited to say the least and complete your colours of the rainbow Terrinda range.
Stand out, stay sharp and get lemon.
